SPEAKLOW is an amazin' & excitin' jazz-funk & soul-jazz spanish hammond organ septet. His leader, Julian Maeso, is the greatest spanish hammond player. The other combo's foundling members are fantastic Antonio Pax (drums), Jose Funko (guitar) & Martin Garcia (tenor sax & horn section conductor). In its first 45, SPEAKLOW presents 2 tunes: “Take your time” (a new boogaloo instant classic) and “Papa don't take no mess” (a very very hot James Brown song version).

Hammond's in the lead all the way on "Take Your Time" -- initiating the track with its own little groove, then blowing through the larger horn parts in a nicely stuttered take on the funky organ solo!
